La Saladita is a small town around a 20 minute drive north of Troncones. The beach community is rich in serf culture with some of the most consistent waves around. Several beach front restaurants prepare locally caught fresh fish and seafood.
Ixtapa
Ixtapa is a coastal resort around 25 minutes drive south from Troncones. With a total of 17 miles of coastline providing stunning sandy beaches, quiet lagoons and small offshore islands. You can cycle along the Ciclopista De Ixtapa or a round of golf at Palma Real.
Zihuatanejo
Zihuataneco is a resort city around 35 minutes drive south of Troncones. The main bay provides a picturesque promenade with a great selection of restaurants, bars and shops. Downtown provides all the amenities of a smaller city, a great place to stock up on supplies.
